LuxoSilk develops silk heatless curlers at our independently operated factory in China. Your reference design and intended hair lengths guide the dimensions, filling and fastenings, with custom colors, logos and set contents.
Curler Styles and Custom Details
Custom dimensions, filling, colors and sets for the intended hair lengths and styling routine. The silk cover, inner structure and fastening details are developed together.
Curler Format
Curling ribbons, scrunchie-style, padded and adjustable formats, with wrapping, fastening and internal construction defined for each design.
Working Dimensions
Custom overall length and usable wrapping section. Rounded designs have a finished diameter measured with the filling in place.
Silk Covering
19 or 22 momme silk for the outer cover. Filling and fastenings have separate specifications; the silk weight does not describe those components.
Filling and Flexibility
Filling selected for the desired firmness and bend, using your physical reference. A photo or a softness description alone does not identify the material.
Intended Hair and Use
The intended hair lengths and styling routine guide the design. Sample review includes wrapping, securing, wearing and removal, beyond the curler’s flat appearance.
Set Contents
Curler and accessory combinations with quantities, colors, logos and packing for each item. Essential and optional pieces are listed separately.
Silk Curler Styles
A curling ribbon may also be padded or adjustable. These styles can overlap, so the brief defines the construction and fastening details for each design.

Wrapping Length and Filled Diameter
Custom dimensions cover the usable wrapping space and the filled profile. A long ribbon and a compact scrunchie-style curler need different drawings. Samples are compared using the intended hair lengths and wrapping method before the final size is chosen.
- Overall and Usable Length
End finishes and fastening areas count toward the overall length. The usable wrapping section is measured separately. - Filled Diameter
A rounded curler’s diameter is measured after filling, without compressing it. Agreed measurement points keep sample and production dimensions comparable. - Hair Coverage
The sample shows whether the intended hair lengths and section sizes wrap fully, with room to secure the ends without crowding the fastening area. - Adjustment Points
Custom adjustment points and ranges. The mechanism and finished settings are developed through sampling; “adjustable” alone does not specify a fastener.
Silk Covering, Filling and Flexibility
19 or 22 momme silk covers with filling selected for the design. Silk weight alone does not determine firmness. The assembled sample shows filling evenness, surface smoothness and how it bends and holds its shape during wrapping.

The silk cover has its own composition and weight; the filling is specified separately. Both need confirmation before approving product material descriptions or care information. - Firmness and Bend
Your physical reference defines the desired firmness and bend. Wrapping the filled sample shows its flexibility and any bulk at fastening points. - Filling Distribution
Even filling along the wrapping section, without lumps, thin areas or uneven ends. The approved filled profile serves as the production reference. - Seams and Surface
Seam position, end finishes and nearby logos or labels need review for contact with hair during wrapping and removal.
Colors, Logos and Curler Sets
Sets combine the curler and selected accessories with coordinated colors, logos and packaging. Essential components determine the contents before retail presentation. Review the complete sample from unpacking through wrapping, securing and removal, with instructions matched to the approved construction.
- What Is Included
Each pack lists items and quantities. Coordinating scrunchies have separate specifications; other requested accessories need confirmation before inclusion in the quote. - Coordinated Branding
Coordinated colors and logos across the components. Review branding on the assembled curler, where filling and seams affect the visible shape. - Use and Care Instructions
Instructions cover preparation, fastening, removal and care for the whole product. The proposed wording needs review against the sample’s cover and filling. - Packing Layout
Packing follows the selected components and agreed curler shape. The packed sample shows whether all parts fit, the curler keeps that shape and the logo and instructions are easy to find.
Single Curlers, Styling Sets and Gift Packs
Single curlers and complete sets have different packing and quotation units. The component count remains separate from the set count.
Curler Only
A curler supplied on its own, with its securing method defined. Any separately required accessory must be clear in the brief and customer instructions.

The box or packaging follows the approved contents. Review the packed shape and presentation, with gift-set quantities listed separately from total component counts.

Curler Assembly and Quality Checks
We check the cover, stitching, filling distribution, dimensions and finish against the approved sample, plus components and packing for sets. Before production, record the construction and measuring method and review any changes to the cover or filling, as these can alter the feel or shape.
Silk Weight, Finish and Responsible Production
The silk covering and filling are specified separately for each curler.
19 or 22 Momme Silk Covering
Curler coverings use 19 or 22 momme silk, with weave and weight agreed before sampling. Momme measures the outer fabric’s weight, not the filling. A swatch shows drape and feel; heavier silk alone does not establish the assembled curler’s fit or finish quality.

6A Silk and “Slip”
6A describes silk grade. “Slip” needs a specific fabric reference for comparison. Weave, weight and finish shape the feel, so a swatch tells more than the label alone.

OEKO-TEX and Sustainability
LuxoSilk works to reduce cutting waste and sort offcuts by material. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 covers testing for harmful substances within the certificate’s scope. Certification for a project depends on the selected materials and valid documents.
