Silk Weights, Colors and Prints

Scrunchies are available in 16, 19 and 22 momme silk, with custom colors and printed designs. The fabric’s drape and gathers shape how the finished pattern looks.

16, 19 or 22 Momme
16 momme is the lightest option, followed by 19 and 22. Weight availability depends on the selected color or print.
Custom Colors
Silk colors developed from your Pantone reference or physical swatch.
Patterns and Logos
Custom artwork with a defined repeat and motif size. Gathers may conceal parts of large motifs or small lettering.
Motif Placement
We assess fixed motif positions before sampling. A repeating print does not guarantee placement.

Scrunchie Sewing and Finishing

We cut and sew the silk covering around the elastic core to match the approved sample. Quality checks cover concealed joins, even stretch, snags, dimensions and appearance, followed by labels, color assortments and pack quantities before shipment.

Momme and Fabric Weight

Momme measures the silk covering’s weight, not elastic strength. We agree the weave and weight before sampling. Swatches show drape and feel; heavier silk alone does not mean a better fit or finish.

Which scrunchie styles and details can LuxoSilk customize?

We make classic, skinny, layered and bow silk scrunchies with custom dimensions, elastic fit, colors, prints, logo labels and packaging. The silk covering is available in 16, 19 or 22 momme; the elastic core has a separate specification.

Can I order branded scrunchies as a gift assortment?

Yes. Individual packs and coordinated assortments are available for fashion brands, accessory retailers, ecommerce brands and corporate gifts. Each pack has its own styles, colors and piece count. Gifts containing other products need a separate component list for the quote.

Does a wider scrunchie give a tighter hold?

No. Fabric width controls fullness; hold depends on the elastic core. A skinny shape alone does not determine which hair types it suits. Development uses a reference sample and a drawing with relaxed dimensions, measurement points and units. Before approving the elastic specification, you try the sample on the intended hair volume to assess wrap count, tension and recovery. The sample also shows how layers or bows sit and attach.

Can mixed colors count toward one minimum order?

Mixed packs do not automatically combine color quantities for MOQ. The reference is 200 pieces per style and color; we assess the full assortment for each order. Smaller orders may cost more per piece. Sample fees and timing depend on the design. Production is estimated at 20–30 days, depending on style, quantity and scheduling, plus shipping time.

What do you need to develop a custom scrunchie sample?

Send a sketch or reference sample, noting details to keep or change, fabric width, finished dimensions, elastic requirements, silk weight and color references. For prints, include artwork scale, repeat and any placement request. Add label artwork and dimensions, quantities by style and color, and pack contents. We review fixed motif positions before sampling. You approve the color on actual silk and the sewn, packed sample before production, including drape, fullness, gathered print, label position, care information and the presentation of layers or bows.
