Custom Shapes and Sizes
Custom finished sizes allow for the coverage, folds and tying length you want. The cut shape affects the layers at the knot and the artwork visible when worn.
- Square or Cut Triangle
Square bandanas fold into overlapping layers. Cut triangles have their own outline, finished dimensions and artwork layout. - Head-Wrap Coverage
Custom coverage and tie length for your target head sizes, with enough fabric for the intended knot and tie ends. - Neckerchief Proportions
Custom fold width, knot position and tail length set the neckerchief’s proportions in your chosen silk. - Fabric at the Knot
16 and 19 momme silk can differ in drape, folded thickness and knot shape. A sample shows the feel and fit that flat dimensions cannot.
Your Artwork, Colors and Logo
Central motifs, corner logos and all-over patterns in your colors. Print and jacquard options depend on the artwork and selected silk. Placement follows the intended wearing style, as folds and knots hide parts of the design.
- Visible Corner
A main motif or logo on the outward-facing corner or panel, with lettering positioned clear of folds and knots. - Border and Hem
Custom border width around the finished edge. Hem allowance is separate from that visible border and leaves space for nearby logos. - Print or Jacquard
Print applies the design to the silk; jacquard forms it through weaving. The artwork and fabric determine which method is feasible. - Color and Reverse
Colors based on your references. The front and reverse can look different; any reverse-side requirements belong in the design brief.
Hems, Brand Labels and Gift Packaging
Bandanas are finished with rolled hems or overlocked edges, then labeled and packed as individual pieces or sets.
- Rolled Hem
Custom roll width, stitch appearance and thread color, with corner details to suit the square or triangular shape. - Overlocked Edge
Custom thread coverage, color and edge profile for the chosen silk. Overlocked stitching looks different from a rolled hem. - Brand and Care Labels
Brand labels, woven labels, care labels and hangtags in your design. Placement suits the fold and wearing style; care details and market information depend on the project. - Individual and Gift Packaging
Individual bags, acid-free paper wrapping and gift boxes for single bandanas or sets. The fold inside the pack determines which part of the design is visible.
Corner, Border and Repeat Designs
Corner motifs, borders and repeats place the focus on different parts of the bandana. The layout follows its shape and the areas visible when worn.

A motif or logo on the outward-facing corner. Its direction and distance from the hem affect how it looks when tied.

Repeating Pattern
An all-over pattern scaled to the bandana. A logo that needs a fixed position must be marked separately; a repeat alone does not control placement.

Bandana Samples and Production
Before production, you approve the bandana open and tied: both faces, hems, corners, colors, lettering, labels and packed presentation. Each edge finish needs its own approval. We check cutting, sewing, dimensions, artwork and packing quantities against that sample. The finished-size drawing and artwork layout stay with it throughout production.
Silk Weight, Finish and Responsible Production
A bandana’s fabric needs to work folded and tied as well as laid flat.
16 or 19 Momme Silk
Bandana fabrics include 16 and 19 momme silk, with weave and weight agreed before sampling. Momme measures weight; a swatch shows drape and feel. Heavier silk alone does not mean a better finish or determine how the bandana sits when tied.

6A Silk and “Slip”
6A describes silk grade. “Slip” needs a specific fabric reference for comparison. Weave, weight and finish shape the feel, so a swatch tells more than the label alone.

LuxoSilk works to reduce cutting waste and sort offcuts by material. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 covers testing for harmful substances within the certificate’s scope. Certification for a project depends on the selected materials and valid documents.
