Silk Robes Made to Your Design
LuxoSilk develops silk robes from your tech pack, size chart or reference garment. Our independently operated factory in China handles cutting and sewing. The collar, overlapping fronts and belt form the wrap, with fit assessed both tied and untied.
Collars, Lengths and Robe Details
The collar, length, front overlap and belt position define the robe’s shape. Finished measurements describe the fit more clearly than a size label.
Collar Shape
Shawl collars or kimono-style fronts, with custom collar width and shape at the overlapping panels.
Body and Sleeve Length
Robe and sleeve lengths follow your measurements; short and long styles have no fixed standard length.
Front Coverage
Custom body width and front overlap for each size, allowing for coverage when sitting and moving.
Belt Position
Custom belt width, length and waist position, including the support points and how far the tied ends hang.
Pocket Layout
Optional pockets with your choice of type, opening and position, placed for access when the robe is tied.
Size Range
A size range based on your agreed chart, with matching sample measurements and size labels. Quantities are listed by size, style and color.

Robe Length, Sleeves and Wrap Fit
Patterns can be developed from your measurements or reference garment, with room to move in the finished fit. Body width and front overlap determine chest and hip coverage; a longer hem cannot compensate for a body that is too narrow.
- Garment Measurements
Finished measurements include room for the intended fit. Chest, hip, shoulder and sleeve dimensions need units and marked measurement points, separate from body measurements. - Overlapping Fronts
Coverage depends on front overlap and the belt’s waist position, and changes when standing, sitting or reaching. - Sleeve and Hem Length
Sleeve and hem lengths follow the intended wearer’s height and use, allowing for sleeve clearance and walking movement. - Fit Across Sizes
Size grading follows the agreed chart. Fit or size-set samples are used where needed before you approve the production reference.
19 and 22 Momme Satin or Crepe de Chine
Robe fabrics include 19 and 22 momme silk satin and crepe de chine. The garment sample shows your chosen fabric and color at the collar, belt and overlapping front.
- Silk Satin
Silk satin has a lustrous face. Lighting affects its sheen in wear and photographs, so color needs to be judged on the actual silk. - Crepe de Chine
Crepe de chine has a more textured surface than satin. Swatches and a garment sample help you compare the texture and drape for your design. - Momme and Construction
Momme measures fabric weight. The chosen weave and weight are specified together; weight alone does not establish opacity, durability or fit. - Color and Care
Show-through depends on the selected color and fabric. Care instructions for the finished robe and any required laundering checks are agreed before production.
Belts, Pockets, Piping and Embroidery
The robe can include piping, embroidery, a coordinated belt, pockets, labels and packaging. Review their positions on the complete robe: the collar, front overlap and belt can cover a logo or shift a detail.
- Belt Dimensions
Belts come in your specified length, width and color, with custom support positions. Length, width and placement affect the knot and hanging ends. - Pockets and Piping
Pockets and piping follow the positions in your drawing. The belt may cross a pocket opening, depending on their placement. - Embroidery Location
Your artwork sets the embroidery size and its distance from a seam or edge. Placement affects logo visibility when the robe is wrapped. - Labels and Packing
Size and care labels match the approved robe, with packaging sized for the folded garment and belt.

Robe Sewing and Quality Checks
LuxoSilk cuts and sews to the approved pattern and sample. We inspect front edges for flatness, collar shape, belt symmetry, pocket and piping placement, measurements and stitching. Final checks cover appearance, labels, the belt in each pack, packaging fit and order quantities.
Silk Weight, Finish and Responsible Production
Satin and crepe de chine give robes different surfaces and drapes.
19 or 22 Momme Silk
Robe fabrics include 19 and 22 momme silk satin and crepe de chine, with weave and weight agreed before sampling. Momme measures weight; a swatch shows drape and feel. Higher momme alone does not mean a better fit or finish.

6A Silk and “Slip”
6A describes silk grade. “Slip” needs a specific fabric reference for comparison. Weave, weight and finish shape the feel, so a swatch tells more than the label alone.

OEKO-TEX and Sustainability
LuxoSilk works to reduce cutting waste and sort offcuts by material. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 covers testing for harmful substances within the certificate’s scope. Certification for a project depends on the selected materials and valid documents.
